उमाको हत्याबाट सिक्नुपर्ने पाठ
सञ्चारको विद्यार्थीको भएर पनि होला, परीक्षाको चाप हुँदाहुँदै पनि उमाको हत्यामा विरोध प्रकट गर्न मेरो मन हतारियो। देशको इतिहासमा पहिलो पटक एक महिला सञ्चारकर्मीको हत्या भएको निन्दनीय घटनालाई सामान्य रूपमा लिन सकिंदैन । यस घटनाले एकातिर सञ्चारकर्मी असुरक्षित भएको प्रमाणित गर्छ भने अर्कोतिर तराइमा हिंसाले सीमा नाघिसकेको खुलासा गर्दछ ।

नेपाल कम्युनिष्ट पार्टि एमालेका पुर्व-महासचिव माधव कुमार नेपाल संविधान मस्यौदा समितिको अधक्षपदमा मनोनित भएर कतै नेपाल जनादेश विपरित जानखोजेका त होइनन् भन्ने संखा-उपसंखा धेरै जसोको मानसपटलमा दौडनु स्वाभाविक हो । स्मरण रहोस्- नेपाल चैत्र २८ गतेको ऐतिहासिक संविधान सभाको चुनावमा काठमाण्डौ-२ र रौताहट-६ बाट उमेद्वार उठेका थिए तर दुवै निवार्चन क्षेत्रबाट भारीमतले हार बेहोरेर संविधान सभाका सदस्य हुने जनादेश गुमाइसकेका थिए ।
विभिन्न शिर्ष-दलहरूको दवाब बावजुदपनि नेपाल पहिला मस्यौदा समितिमा मनोतित हुन राजी नहुनु तर प्रधानमन्त्रि पुष्पकमल दाहाल “प्रचण्ड” ले लिखित रूपमै नेपालको प्रशंसा गरेर मस्यौदा समितिको अधक्षपदको लागि प्रस्ताव गर्दा चाँहि हासिखुशि राजि हुनुलाई स्वाभाविक मान्न गारो नै पर्ला । (more…)
Bearing the Brunt of Democracy
Democracy, the government of the people by the people and for the people, is it what our one of the greatest leader of the 19 the century had dictated. For me democracy is the rule of the majority party by the party leaders and for the partygoers. How long have we Nepali been bearing the brunt of democracy?
It’s more than 5 decade that we have been played in the game of hope and despair by the people we our self elect and pave their way to Singha Durbar. What we Get?
